Maryann Krasko, MS
Graduate Student
Maryann N. Krasko is doctoral student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, working under the mentorship of Dr. Michelle R. Ciucci. She received her B.S. from New York University and her M.S. from Columbia University. Her primary areas of interest are concerned with the neurobiological underpinnings of upper airway disorders in neurodegenerative populations, namely Parkinson disease (PD). She is also interested in the study of the gastrointestinal system and its role in the pathogenesis of PD. In her free time, Maryann enjoys playing the piano, painting, teaching ballroom dance, and spending time with her family.
