Andy Hoerst, BS

Andy joined the lab as the Associate Research Specialist after completing his B.S. in Neurobiology here at University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2022. Having recently pivoted from the music and culinary industries, Andy brings a newfound enthusiasm for neurobiological research and a knack for creative problem solving. In addition to his experience with cognitive neuroscience, he also has a background in neuronal cell biology. In his free time, Andy enjoys exploring the grand mysteries of existence with his fiancée, Adrienne, and his two strange yet lovable dogs, Bill and Mortimer.
